ELITE TEAMS
Amplifying Voices
Elite Teams seeks funding to launch “Amplifying Voices,” an innovative program engaging at-risk youth and those in the juvenile justice system. Small groups will work with mentors and media professionals to produce original audio/video content, providing the youth with a platform to share overlooked perspectives. Through hands-on training in writing, editing, production, and more, participants will build concrete skills and strengthen their voices. Mentors will also coach participants in communication, responsibility, problem-solving, and career readiness. The goal is for the youth to gain confidence and abilities for meaningful opportunities beyond the program. Their produced stories will also spur community dialogue and understanding. We need funding for staff, equipment, production/distribution capabilities, mentor stipends, and materials as we scale impact. The Park Foundations Fund’s priorities align with our goals of developing new public media, serving underrepresented audiences, and advancing content innovation.

We don't know them all, but we owe them all.
Elite Teams Vet/Active Duty Initiative is a faction of Elite Training that promotes the mental health of our veterans and active duty military personnel. Our program includes various methods of BootCamp-style training and mission sets that allow military personnel to engage once again as a team, as a brotherhood. This place serves as a reminder of the beginning of their military lives. Mental health engagement, discipline, character development, pipelines to vocational training, and overcoming obstacles are just a few areas of training we offer. Each person will be engaged one-on-one by a volunteer mental health worker. It is our goal to prevent vet suicides and provide an outlet for active duty personnel not deployed to maintain their mental health. However, the process doesn’t end there. After training with Elite has been secured, we have a Vocational Center on standby and jobs waiting for these brothers and sisters. We leave no one behind.
Suicide Prevention
How will the project advance the front lines of combat against the mental and/or physical challenges faced by military heroes and their families?
Based on my experience as a chaplain and service member. My experience has shown the travesty of a civilian world that lacks a thorough understanding of how to serve our military heroes. Putting the foundations in place is the first step. In order to help them, we must bring them back to a time when they were at their most vulnerable and driven by mission and purpose. Our vulnerability was tested in boot camp and we grew from it. There is a difference between the military mind and the civilian mind. The mission has always been at the forefront of their minds. Throughout their careers, they have always been devoted to their country and taken pride in what they accomplish. The mind of the soldier is complex. The mind has been reprogrammed to accept orders, and the fight they endure is always mentally based. Evolution was met with the question of whether I would persevere or quit. This is how we need to approach this growing epidemic amongst our heroes. It is the basic in basic training that Elite Teams taps into. A unit is established through teamwork, discipline, unit cohesion, communication, attitude, problem-solving, and mission completion. All of these components are trained through obstacle course training by Elite Teams. In mud runs, we see civilian obstacles, but not here. My experience with military obstacles is derived from various courses that I have taken. As a result, these obstacles are commonly faced with real-life mental and physical struggles, such as drug addiction, mental health issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, family issues, marriage issues, and standards of physical fitness. As far as our reach is concerned, there is no limit. Maintaining and fighting back against the issues that plague our active duty and veteran service members is our primary objective. As a team, we train according to a standard. It takes encouragement, help, and guidance both on and off the battlefield for us to reach that standard.
Elite Teams Mobile App Project
Right now we need a tool that will help us disciple individuals who have joined Elite Teams. The need for teams to stay connected with our process and continue training is critical. Elite Teams has grown exponentially (to multiple countries) since we started over 10 years ago. The number of individuals being impacted through Elite Teams will continue to increase over the coming years.

Elite Honduras School Transformation Initiative
The ability to engage thousands in this gang-infested society has come to our doorstep. We have been given permission to launch this initiative in schools. The way that we combat societal trends is to starve the predator of its food supply. With gang growth on the rise, the opportunity is here to engage those who would eventually enter the gangs and a life of crime. We are going to build a roof over the training area to allow for constant engagement, even in the hot sun.

Ongoing Projects
Elite Gang Prevention
These projects are all overflow from the leadership we have invested in and mentored. Our purpose and passion are to engage those being recruited to gangs and provide them with an alternative. It is amazing to see when presented with a way out how quickly individuals join us. At the heart of every young person, there is a need for parameters, discipline, love, tough love, attention, confidence building, teamwork, and community/family. That is why we see many young people joining the gangs of Central America. We offer every single one of those needs, and the results are incredible. Instead of murder, they are met with love. Instead of a venomous chain of command, they are met with leaders who care and want to invest in each individual in a positive way. Instead of a life of uncertainty, they are set on a course to succeed. That is what it means to be a part of the Elite Family. And our family is growing. Taking back the streets of Central America, one young person at a time.
Community Projects In Honduras & El Salvador
Our Community Projects include small tiendas (stores), roofs for community centers, and homes for the poor. We have also been involved in building hydroponic greenhouses and a pig barn. These many projects have impacted multiple countries including Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
After School Programs/ Baking Classes / Anti-Bullying Initiative / Playgrounds
After school initiative. Elite Teams are more than just training and building. Elite Teams are about living our lives to invest in young people on a personal level. Our leaders are trained in basic counseling in order to maximize their impact on those around them including schools, and after-school programs. We have our own teams going and doing assemblies with young people. The parks we build are because we care about investing in the weakest among us, the children. Bullying is an epidemic in Central America. Elite Anti Bullying training is about teaching those receiving the bullying how to overcome with positive thinking, encouragement, and a warrior spirit. That’s why our acronym means Everyday Living To Intentionally Encourage.

Honduras Transformation Project: Vocational Training Center
Honduras Transformation Project is a project to engage Central America and set the standard for a new training style in order to engage communities and affect change. We are training leaders to mentor their subordinates in character, work ethic, discipline, spiritual guidance, and an overcoming attitude. This project was built by Hondurans for Hondurans and run by our Honduran teams on the ground. This project is the effect of engaging communities and working with their strengths and weaknesses to provide opportunities to struggling communities and families. The majority of the communities impacted are gang-run communities.
